Premium Cold Weather ASJ Facing Tape For All Service Jacket Insulation
GT8025HT™ premium cold weather ASJ facing tape - All Service Jacketing, is a flexible high performance tape with an easy release silicone liner, scrim and foil backing. Designed to match ASJ faced insulation materials it achieves a long term bond from the inherent characteristics of its high performant pressure sensitive solvent acrylic adhesive specially formulated to provide a reliable and durable fix in both cold and hot humid environments.
This conformable tape can be easily moulded to irregular surfaces, maintaining insulation efficiency by protecting against the effects of fire, moisture and dust. Used as a permanent closure system and vapour barrier seal on ASJ faced insulation duct, pipe systems, and for the sealing and repairing in refrigerated applications.

Surface Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are dry and clean, free from dirt, dust, grease, oil and silicones.
Ensure firm pressure is applied to the GT8025HT™ premium cold weather ASJ facing tape to provide the best adhesive bond, and that sufficient tape is applied (of at least 25mm) either side of joints to provide a long-lasting seal.
Application
Remove the release paper from the section of GT8025HT™ tape, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
Align the tape centrally over the join. Pull the tape taut and then press down firmly over the entire joint area.
Rub the tape to remove any wrinkles or folds.
Product Shelf Life
12 months when stored in original, unopened packaging at 21˚C (70˚F) / 50% relative humidity, and kept out of direct sunlight.
