Premium Cold Weather Construction Seaming Tape
GT1585HT™ cold weather construction seaming tape by ProTech Global is a premium grade polyester (PET) tape with cold weather solvent acrylic adhesive, designed to seal seams on house-wrap materials and insulated sheathing. It can also be used for other construction and insulated vapour barrier materials.
Manufactured with the construction industry in mind its component parts are purposefully created for todays’ demanding environments, ensuring that this premium cold weather construction seaming tape excels in extreme cold as well as high heat and humidity conditions, providing a reliable, long lasting and cost effective solution for the industry.
Typical Applications
Typical applications for GT1585HT™ cold weather construction seaming tape. Widely used by construction professionals as a closure system and vapour seal on both exterior and interior house-wrap and sheathing materials. Also used for the jointing and sealing of cement particle board, polythene sheeting and flexible duct.

Surface Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are dry and clean, free from dirt, dust, grease, oil and silicones.
Ensure firm pressure is applied to the construction seaming tape to provide the best adhesive bond, and that sufficient tape is applied (of at least 25mm) either side of joints to provide a long-lasting seal.
Application
Remove the release paper from the section of GT1585HT™ cold weather construction seaming tape, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
Align the tape centrally over the join. Pull the tape taut and then press down firmly over the entire joint area.
Rub the tape to remove any wrinkles or folds.
Product Shelf Life
12 months when stored in original, unopened packaging at 21˚C (70˚F) / 50% relative humidity, and kept out of direct sunlight.
