Premium FSK (Foil/Scrim/Kraft) Aluminium Foil Facing Tape
GT1625HT™ is a premium grade tri-directional reinforced aluminium foil FSK facing tape (foil/scrim/kraft) protected by an easy release silicone paper. Specifically designed to match FSK faced insulation materials, this high performance adhesive tape is fire retardant and mold resistant.
Being a lamination of aluminium foil, kraft paper, and reinforced fibreglass, this cost effective aluminium foil FSK facing tape product is manufactured to the highest of specifications providing a protective insulative barrier against heat, cold, dust and moisture. The high performance pressure sensitive adhesive provides a long term adhesive bond which excels in both very cold and high humidity environments, making it an ideal choice for the sealing of FSK foil faced insulation materials in the HVAC sectors.
Typical Applications
Typical applications for GT1625HT™ reinforced aluminium foil FSK facing tape. Widely used in the HVAC industry for joining and sealing of FSK faced insulation materials, fibreglass blankets, duct board, pipe sections and seams. Used in both internal and external applications.

Surface Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are dry and clean, free from dirt, dust, grease, oil and silicones.
Ensure firm pressure is applied to the tape to provide the best adhesive bond, and that sufficient tape is applied (of at least 25mm) either side of joints to provide a long-lasting seal.
Application
Remove the release paper from the section of GT1625HT™ reinforced aluminium foil FSK facing tape, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
Align the tape centrally over the join. Pull the tape taut and then press down firmly over the entire joint area.
Rub the tape to remove any wrinkles or folds.
Product Shelf Life
12 months when stored in original, unopened packaging at 21˚C (70˚F) / 50% relative humidity, and kept out of direct sunlight.
