MB30™ is a professional grade 30 micron aluminium matt black foil tape. This premium grade matt black foil tape product is coated with a high performance synthetic rubber adhesive and protected by an easy release silicone paper.
Manufactured to the highest of specifications this professional matt black foil tape is easily conformable to irregular surfaces, providing an effective instant barrier against, heat cold, dust and moisture. Typical Applications
Typical applications for MB30™ matt black foil tape. Widely used by the HVAC industry in commercial or entertainment internal voids for the joining and sealing of intersections on matt black surfaces, the jointing and sealing of duct board, pipe sections and seams. MB30™ matt black foil tape is extensively used but not limited to joining and sealing of flexible air duct seams and connections, where design requirements are sympathetic to their environment and aesthetics are of a paramount importance.
Also used in other industrial applications requiring a matt black foil tape with similar characteristics and benefits. Please check with a technical product expert to determine suitability for a particular purpose prior to use.

Surface Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are dry and clean, free from dirt, dust, grease, oil and silicones.
Ensure firm pressure is applied to the matt black foil tape to provide the best adhesive bond, and that sufficient tape is applied (of at least 25mm) either side of joints to provide a long-lasting seal.
Application
Remove the release paper from the section of MB30™ matt black foil tape, taking care not to touch the rubber adhesive surface.
Align the tape centrally over the join. Pull the tape taut and then press down firmly over the entire joint area.
Rub the tape to remove any wrinkles or folds.
Product Shelf Life
12 months when stored in original, unopened packaging at 21˚C (70˚F) / 50% relative humidity, and kept out of direct sunlight.
