Typical Applications
Typical applications for GT30R™ rubber adhesive aluminium foil tape. Widely used in the HVAC industry for jointing tape, and the sealing of foil-scrim faced laminated fibreglass blankets, duct board, pipe sections and seams. This rubber adhesive aluminium foil tape is extensively used but not limited to jointing and sealing of flexible air duct seams and connections, in both internal and external applications.
Also used in other industrial applications requiring a rubber adhesive aluminium foil tape with similar characteristics and benefits. Please check with a technical product expert to determine the suitability of this foil tape for a particular purpose prior to use.

Surface Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are dry and clean, free from dirt, dust, grease, oil and silicones.
Ensure firm pressure is applied to the rubber adhesvie aluminium foil tape to provide the best adhesive bond, and that sufficient tape is applied (of at least 25mm) either side of joints to provide a long-lasting seal.
Application
Remove the release paper from the section of GT30R™ rubber adhesive aluminium foil tape, taking care not to touch the rubber adhesive surface.
Align the aluminium foil tape centrally over the join. Pull the tape taut and then press down firmly over the entire joint area.
Rub the tape to remove any wrinkles or folds.
Product Shelf Life
12 months when stored in original, unopened packaging at 21˚C (70˚F) / 50% relative humidity, and kept out of direct sunlight.
