Tri-Laminate Cryogenic Vapour Barrier Tape
MF65™ is a premium cryogenic vapour barrier tape product. Manufactured as a three-layer lamination of polyester film(12 micron), aluminium foil(25 micron) and polyester film(12 micron), and coated with a cold weather pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive, this premium grade tape product is specifically designed as a vapour barrier in thermal insulations.
This conformable tri-laminate cryogenic vapour barrier tape applies the outstanding chemical characteristics of its polyester and aluminium construction to provide outstanding performance; excelling in extreme cold or humid conditions. Suitable for both internal or external applications and providing a complete vapour stop solution, MF65 cryogenic vapour barrier tape meets the demanding requirements of the today’s professional installers.
Typical Applications
Typical applications for MF65™ cryogenic vapour barrier tape. Widely used in the HVAC industry as a vapour barrier for the jointing and sealing of insulation materials, fibreglass blankets, duct board, pipe sections and seams. Suited for exterior use applications and for use cases in extreme cold and high humidity environments.

Surface Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are dry and clean, free from dirt, dust, grease, oil and silicones.
Ensure firm pressure is applied to the cryogenic vapour barrier tape to provide the best adhesive bond, and that sufficient tape is applied (of at least 25mm) either side of joints to provide a long-lasting seal.
Application
Remove the release paper from the section of MF65™ cryogenic vapour barrier tape, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
Align the tape centrally over the join. Pull the tape taut and then press down firmly over the entire joint area.
Rub the tape to remove any wrinkles or folds.
Product Shelf Life
12 months when stored in original, unopened packaging at 21˚C (70˚F) / 50% relative humidity, and kept out of direct sunlight.
